1) implementation of scientific research programs in the field of ensuring the environmental safety of
the Baikonur complex;
2) carrying out work on environmental support of space rocket launches;
3) comprehensive monitoring of the environment of territories affected by rocket and space activities in
normal and emergency situations;
4) ensuring dynamic monitoring of the habitat and public health in areas affected
by rocket and space activities in normal and emergency situations;
5) participation in the elimination of consequences of emergency crashes of a space rocket on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
6) development of recommendations to prevent and reduce the negative impact of rocket and space activities on
the environment and public health;
7) development of draft regulatory, technical and methodological documents in the field of ensuring the environmental
safety of rocket and space activities;
8) chemical and analytical studies of environmental objects;
9) creation of thematic cartographic materials.
